Haitians and Latino?

I believe its safe to say that not a lot of the Caribbean/Latino countries like Haiti..Even though the Red&Blue on the flags of Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela represent Haitian soldiers who fought with Simon Bolivar to free those country. Also the haitian goverment funded and inspired many slave uprising such as the "Male Revolt" in Brazil. We even provided the Dominicans with aid in their "War of Restoration". My question is why they despise us even though we done so much good over the years. I know we have a rocky relationship with the Dominicans but, its like we dont get our respect..Is it because we are poor. Who's our friends and how can we fully integrate with the rest of Latin America..And Im not talk bout showing our flag on all those reggaeton music(don Omar-reggaeton Latino).
