What is with the Reggie Miller reference by Three 6 Mafia. Why?!?

In their song Stay High, 8Ball drops the following lyric "have a n-gga who smoke Reggie Miller" and I want to know why. What is the significance with Reggie Miller? Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks in advance :)
