Clearance process and MEPS?

I got a secret clearence interview before i left for boot camp. This was a few years ago but, i had a lady come and interview me for about 2 hours and then i had it by the end of boot camp. I don't think she called any family members but she basically just asked me about me and my past. Just be honest about anything and everything. Thats what they are looking for is if your trustworthy. Have you been interviewed yet? Has your recruiter let you know the process? Any way, that was how i got mine. I even had charges on my record and not so good credit. Hope all goes well.
