Doesn't giving tax exemptions to Churches a violation of the first amendment?

Congress shall make no law concerning religion. Churches are political lobbyist they have been since Nixon called out the moral majority. If they want to be the moral police they should pay for the right. There is nothing moral about the moral majority.
