Father and son relationship?

my dad is really strict since he's korean if anyone hu has korean dad will know. He thinks i dont study enough even in summer holiday and i am so sick of him saying that and i cant believe myself he thinks education is more important than my health! Dont parents usually care about their children's health than their education? isn't being a happy family more important than an education? if i tell him that he get pissed and locks me into my room just coz i was trying to win him over or sumthin. Do you think its my dad who's too extreme or me not studying much as he expects me to? and What should i do?
