NeilMed Nasaflo Neti Pot Question?

I just recently bought a Neti Pot from cvs but am weary about trying it out. I have looked up videos on youtube demonstrating how it is done and it frankly scares me a bit. Has anyone ever used one before? What does it do..did it help your sinuses..what does it feel like? Any information you have about the Neti Pot is welcome. Thanks so much!
